BioD-SiltCheck™ is an excellent sediment control device, specially for natural check dams. It is made of 100% coir (coconut fiber). It includes a coir fiber body, which filters and reduces the speed of flowing water, and upstream and downstream filter aprons, which trap sediment and control erosion. When installed properly, the upstream filter apron prevents undercutting, while the downstream filter apron eliminates downstream erosion caused by water flowing over the device. The BioD-SiltCheck™ is an effective sediment control device for many types of construction site applications. BioD-SiltCheck™ is available in 9 in X 15 ft., and 12 in x 15 ft. sizes.
