The model shown is an example of the Model Safe-Stream 10 SM Pedestal Drinking Fountain in surface mount installation (SM) and standard steel.  The Safe-Stream 10 SM is an ADA drinking Fountain featuring the self-sealing bubbler and bowl sand strainer as standard.

The surface mount installation is designed to be anchored to a concrete pad with anchor bolts through a mounting plate that is welded to the fountain. An optional stainless steel surface carrier is recommended for all pedestal surface mount installations. Most Dependable Fountains recommends specifying the optional SS Bolt Kit 1 when not ordering the optional stainless steel surface carrier.

The direct bury installation (DB, not shown) is designed to be buried 14 inches with the steel supports shown, anchored in concrete.

The supply and waste connections stop above grade behind the access door. Access doors are standard on all pedestal Safe-Stream Series drinking fountains.
