The model shown is an example of the Model 580 Beach Shower in surface mount installation and standard steel.  The 580 Shower Tower is also available in stainless steel (SS).  Most Dependable Fountains recommends specifying stainless steel for sand and beach areas. All of the nine oven baked powdercoat colors apply to both standard and stainless steel.

This Model 580 features one shower head with one foot wash, and an ADA trough drinking fountain. The Model 580 is designed to direct the drain water down the inside of the shower and into a floor drain. There is no bowl, no strainer and no drain line to stop up. MDF, Inc. designed the 580 with a removable face plate for easy access.

The surface mount (SM, shown) installation is designed to be anchored to a concrete pad with anchor bolts through a mounting plate that is welded to the shower tower. An optional stainless steel surface carrier is recommended for all pedestal surface mount installations. Most Dependable Fountains recommends specifying the optional SS Bolt Kit 1 when not ordering the optional stainless steel surface carrier.

The supply connection stops above grade behind the access door.  Access doors are standard on all pedestal 500 Series showers.
