CU-Structural Soil in the Urban Environment
|
|
Amereq, Inc.
CU-Soil is an urban tree planting mix designed
and recommended to be used under paved sites, such
as pedestrian mall paving, sidewalks, parking lots
and low-use access roads.
CU-Structural Soil is comprised of a stone
‘lattice’ to meet engineering requirements for
load-bearing, and a specified quantity of soil, to
meet tree requirements for root growth. This
allows for improved soil volumes for tree roots,
and thus protection from sidewalk heaving caused
by surface roots.
