ARE YOUR RETAINING WALLS READY FOR STAR TIME?

 

VERSA-LOK is seeking some good-looking models—specifically, head-turning retaining walls to enter in the 2007 VERSA-LOK Landscape Design Contest. The winning entry will take home $5,000 and be featured in VERSA-LOK’s 2008 national advertising campaign. Two runner-up prizes of $500 each also will be awarded.

 

The contest is open to all professionals involved with retaining wall design, including landscape architects, architects, engineers and contractors. However, the contest entrant must be the actual designer of the project submitted. Entries will be judged on scope, complexity and technical achievement. Particular weight will be given to projects that feature unique design elements and innovative use of VERSA-LOK products in overcoming site challenges. All retaining wall products used in entered projects must be exclusively VERSA-LOK. Projects completed in 2006-2007 are eligible, and entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2008.

Stairs, curves, corners, freestanding walls and columns all have been featured in past award-winning entries. We encourage landscape architects, designers, engineers and contractors to think outside the box—or block—when designing their next VERSA-LOK project. It could be our next winner!”
