Borne from the skill and passion of 8th-generation master butcher, Dario Cecchini, Carna made its debut at the SLS Baha Mar resort in Nassau, The Bahamas. The steakhouse features a live butcher’s station and offers prime cuts of the finest steaks sourced from the world’s prominent locales.

Offering indoor/outdoor dining, Carna’s mid-modern look draws inspiration from the butcher’s home country, Italy. The earth-toned colour scheme subtly extends outdoors to the restaurant’s impressive circular patio and covered pergola.

To protect the diners from the occasional rainfall, ShadeFX specified 10 tapered motorized canopies to cover the circular structure. Custom gutters were also added to ensure all the seats on the 1500 square foot patio were fully protected from the elements.

At the push of a button the restaurant’s outdoor patio remains the best seat in the house, even when it starts to rain.
