BioD-RockBag™
BioD-Rockbag™ coir rock bags provide BMP’s for sediment control during construction. They work well with heavy equipment. They are strong, durable, natural, biodegradable, environmentally-friendly and economical. Coir rock bags do not create any non-degradable waste, which requires disposal in landfills.
RoLanka offers bags made of bristle coir woven mats. These coir rock bags filter sediment effectively and can stand heavy equipment better than synthetic rock bags. Coir rock bags are available in 24 in. x 10 in. ( BioD-Rockbag™ 10) as well as 24 in. x 36 in. (BioD-Rockbag™ 36) sizes. The 24 in x 10 in bags come with coir twine string so that these bags can be joined together to perform as one unit. The BioD-Rockbag™ 10 is made from BioD-Mat 70 erosion control blanket and BioD-Rockbag™ 36 is made from BioD-Mat 90 erosion control blanket.
