BioD-Medium
BioD-Medium™, coir pith (dust), is a natural, biodegradable by-product from the coconut fiber industry. It is the leftover fine coir particles after extraction of fiber from freshwater cured coconut husks. After extraction of fiber, coir pith is stored in open air for 2-3 years before using. Exposure to natural conditions, rain in particular, weathers coir dust and reduces its salinity and conductivity. Aged coir pith has properties suitable for promoting seed germination plant growth. A natural by-product from the coconut industry and renewable natural resource.
