As a manufacturer, Hufcor recognizes the importance of innovation in sustainable design. Hufcor partitions are manufactured with raw materials such as gypsum, steel, aluminum, glass and wood. Specified percentages of these materials can contribute to the achievement of LEED points in the Materials and Resources Category of the LEED rating system. The materials in Hufcor products can also contribute to the achievement of LEED points in the Indoor Environmental Quality and Regional Materials categories. Use of glasswall partitions may contribute to the 8.2 Daylight and Views category. As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Hufcor is committed to being an industry leader when it comes to protecting the environment, by reducing pollutants and minimizing our environmental impact on air, water and land.


All production of the toilet partitions are completed at the Knickerbocker facility in Freeport, NY., U.S.A. Their product is produced with an average minimum of 75% (combined post industrial / post consumer) recycled content. The honeycomb core of the partitions and screens (which makes up a very small percentage of the finished product) is produced with 10-15% (combined post industrial / post consumer) recycled content.
