Project Overview

The south end of Boston continues to be a growth area, and is host to one of the biggest building booms in the region. With 378-units in two towers, the "Troy Boston" luxury apartments is one of the latest projects in this corner of the south end.

Project Details

Precast concrete floors were used for the infracture of the 11 and 19 story towers. This created the need for a strong, lightweight floor leveling solution. Our partner NESC was calling in for the project, and turned to AccuCrete for a solution to finish the floors with a durable, level surface.

Solution

To complete the project, NESC selected AccuLevel H40 poured a total of 8,750 bags (350 tons) throughout the 11 and 19 story buildings. AccuLevel H40 provided robust hybrid cement technology with high compression strengths, all at a very competitive price. Ideal for new but out-of-level precast concrete floors, or old, damaged concrete floors in commercial, institutional, and renovation construction.
