No roof is completely free of obstructions. The Adjustable Mid-Rail railing section is used where rooftop obstructions intersect with the fall protection railing system. Instead of terminating the railings on each side of the obstruction, the mid-rail can be removed and reassembled below the obstruction allowing for uninterrupted protection around obstruction.
