Often dubbed the "Beverly Hills" of San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe is an affluent community known for its high-end estates and upscale lifestyle. When local interior designer Barbara Grigsby contacted Stone Yard to create designs for a 13,000 square-foot home on 14 sprawling acres, we were excited to get started. Barbara commissioned us to create outdoor pieces that would fit with the stone architecture of the house and the surrounding rugged landscape. Playing off the natural surroundings, we made furnishings that reflected that same raw texture as stone, creating custom stone benches and patio tables, as well as a custom fire pit and an assortment of planters and sconces. Each piece was handcrafted from durable Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) and Fiberstone, for one-of-a-kind designs that can live in the outdoors and not be effected by the elements.
