The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Their organizations are located around the world and boast a total of over 1.8 million members in 15,000 councils. One of those councils is the Kenmore Knights of Columbus in Buffalo, NY. The Kenmore facility hosts a wide variety of community events for its 800 members. The space that sees the most activity, by far, is their gymnasium. It is home to numerous basketball league practices and games each week.

When it was time for Kenmore to replace their old, worn-out gym floor, they partnered with Surface America and chose the ElastoFloor Roll-Pour system, known for its comfortable surface and extreme durability.

McCarthy also shared that they originally considered replacing their old gym flooring with a wood floor, but they knew the cleaning and upkeep would be more labor-intensive. The ElastoFloor Roll-Pour floor allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. McCarthy also liked that they were able to customize the floor colors. They chose a blue and gold combination to reflect the organization’s colors.
