The exceptional strength, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, slip resistance and working life of FRP grating compared to more traditional materials such as galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel or wood, makes it one of the most useful, versatile and economical solutions available for the construction boardwalks, walkways, docks and marinas, as well as the preferred support surface on elevated roof decks for synthetic turf, planter trays, porcelain pavers and natural stone. FRP offers unparalleled durability, flexibility, mechanical strength, safety, and longevity even in the most demanding conditions and locations. Archatrak “SpanTrak” FRP grating panels are manufactured with a select combination of fibers, resins, fillers and additives to maximize durability, strength, fire resistance and UV degradation. Panels are supplied with a gritted surface for maximum slip resistance in all conditions. ‘SpanTrak’ panels are supplied in three mesh sizes with a standard panel dimension of 8′ x 4′. Other mesh or panel sizes, styles, colors, resin composition and surface finish, can generally be supplied, subject to minimum order size.
