The BLG-05-SA (Semi Automatic) is a manually tactivated bollard with a K12/M50 crash rating. Bollard is operated by an hydraulic piston. The bollard is pumped to an upper position using a handle, and retracted using a key, by sheer gravity. Alongside its affordable price (purchase and operational price) and reliability, make an ideal solution for Urban Vehicular Access Control (pedestrian security) and high-security applications in places where the bollards are less frequently operated (for example, seasonlly closed pedestrian streets). The BLG-05-SA does not require any underground cabling is required which reduces installations costs and operational costs. BLG-05-SA measures 900 mm (35”) in height (also available at 1000 mm (39")) and 270mm (11") in diameter. The bollard boasts an IP68 rating which means that it is fully operational even when submerged in water. This semi-automatic bollard boasts a stainless steel coating to prevent corrosion, and also comes with optional LED lights for maximum visibility. An excavation depth of 1840 mm (72”) is required when installing the BLG-05-SA bollard.
