The distinguished line of J. Aaron wood and butcher block countertops are custom designed and available in varying thicknesses, construction styles and with three distinct sealers for all applications, including a 0 voc option. Species from hickory, and hard maple to exotics like zebrawood and wenge are available along with custom requests. Reclaimed woods like heart pine, hickory, and oak are also available to add to LEED points on GREEN projects.

Extremely hard and heavy this exotic hardwood comes from South America. One of the few exotics that is not considered in any danger it’s a wonderful choice for wood countertops on many levels. A warm golden brown with rosy undertones jatoba is adaptable to most color schemes. Being a very hard species this wood is great for either food prep and chopping or for surfaces used primarily for serving. Jatoba makes a beautiful and extremely durable wood countertop.
