Introducing: The Cargo Bike Locker

At the beginning of 2023 American Bicycle Security Co. unveiled its latest model: the 301WXL. The WXL (wide & extra-long) lives up to its name with a 10-foot-long body and a 35.25-inch-wide door opening. This locker was designed to fit cargo bikes, recumbent bikes, trikes and bikes pulling trailers. The 301WXL is the specifier’s answer to ordinances requiring cargo bike paring, like the ones in Portland, OR and Santa Monica, CA.

ABS Co. has been making a 10-foot-long locker for years for custom orders. Now with molds in house we can offer them at a steep price reduction and lightning-fast lead times. 

The WXL is also a great way to store a family’s worth of bikes, making it a necessary addition to parks, trail heads, camp sites and playgrounds. The 35.25-inch-wide door frame fits some special needs tricycles.  

With the growing popularity of pedal assist motors, riders are buying beefier bikes that do more than just get them from point A to Point B. Make sure your project is ready for the trends of present and future of bike commuting.
