PalmSHIELD’s Architectural Open Screening is a work of artistry, design and engineering to provide a unique decorative architectural screening system for applications that require a more upscale design and a level of openness. Whether you select our decorative laser cut metal panels, decorative perforated or wire mesh system, we can complement and enhance the outward appearance of your building, mechanical equipment screening, rooftop screening, or other application. Our design team will work closely with you to provide a unique one-of-a-kind work of art utilizing one of our endless designs or material types. All of our architectural open designs easily incorporate into PalmSHIELD’s engineered full framework systems or may be used as a standalone application attached to your building or structure. All of our decorative architectural screens require a great deal of expertise and year’s of experience in providing a beautiful and lasting coating. PalmSHIELD recognizes these decorative laser cut metal panels, architectural perforated panels, and wire mesh panels present a great deal of edges, corners and tight spaces resulting in real care in coating. Our architectural open designs are available in any gate configuration using our Gorilla hinges and Locinox internal locking system.

This is our laser cut panel with a colored or non-colored sheet of acrylic slid between either mirrored images of laser cut sheets or backing one laser cut sheet. This laser cut aluminum sheet with diffusing acrylic sheet allows light to illuminate the cut pattern of the metal sheets. This modern artistic design provides a sophisticated gallery quality to the laser cut designs. PalmSHIELD uses only the highest quality acrylic sheet, ACRYLITE FF 3 mm or 5 mm sheet with a tensile strength of 10,000 psi. Acrylic sheeting is available in a wide range of colors and density, limiting and diffusing light. When placed against a solid surface, the panels may be backlit for greater contrast and a real glow. When standalone, the acrylic sheets are slid between two sheets of laser cut aluminum sheet mirroring one another to allow natural light to shine through. The artistic laser cut sheets are powder coated to allow even more contract between the glowing acrylic sheet and aluminum panels.
