College Discus Cage
AAE's College Discus Cage is designed to meet NCAA specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations for qualification and record certification. The cage features 4"" aluminum posts with an offset to prevent discus ricochet and aluminum ground sleeves for easier installation and removal. The posts come in a standard aluminum mill finish. A weather-treated nylon safety net with a strength of 340 psi is used, operated by a simple pulley system with rope cleats to secure the net. The cage has 8 posts, standing 24'-0"" tall, and the main net dimensions are 20' x 63'. An optional backup safety net (8' x 92') is also available for added safety, keeping spectators at a safer distance.
