Bird Barrier America is proud to have worked with the creative architect team from HKS, Inc. to assure proper protection for the 2.2 million pound Oculus scoreboard at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. Using the StealthNet Bird Exclusion system, this one-of-a-kind infinity screen is ready not only for Super Bowl Sunday but for many years to come!

SoFi stadium is built with an open-air design to keep a leveled temperature around the stadium and provide fans with the best weather Los Angeles has to offer. Unfortunately, this also allows pesky birds to fly into SoFi, which no one wants during game day. Thankfully, the architects at HKS recognized that the Oculus, as it's called, would be an ideal spot for birds to take hold of and nest.

The architects decided to include Bird Barrier StealthNet in the initial plans, fully knowing how bad it could get if nesting occurred. Bird Barrier offers a full suite of bird control technologies to complement the architect's needs. Additionally, Bird Barrier provided CAD and BIM models for the StealthNet System so that any virtual plans could also include the netting.

As of 2022, almost four years after completion, the Oculus is bird-free, droppings-free, and nest-free. Thanks to the foresight of the architects at HKS Inc, Sofi stadium avoided a considerable problem. Fans wouldn't need to worry about getting their food stolen. Players wouldn't need to worry about getting poop on themselves. Birds can safely nest in other places. Wins all around!

Bird Barrier understands that designing a building is a complicated process. The last thing any architect wants to see is opportunistic pest birds spoil their hard work or make aesthetic compromises to prevent them. Bird Barrier has been the industry innovator in professional, low-profile pest bird control for over a quarter-century, and we would like to offer our assistance in helping you incorporate effective, aesthetically pleasing bird control strategies into your next design.
