This sprawling all-stone home features Buechel Stone’s Mill Creek Colonial Blend, a Fieldledge product, on its exterior and for the outdoor fireplace. The original plans for this home showed an all-stucco exterior, but when the customer saw a sample of our Mill Creek Colonial Blend, it was love at first sight. The entire home was switched from stucco to Buechel Stone, even though it meant that the roof trusses had to be redone so that the soffit overhang would work with a natural stone exterior. The expert craftsmen in Buechel Stone’s Saw Shop even fabricated custom Mill Creek Cut Stone sills to ensure that every last architectural stone detail was addressed.
