Installed in May 2015 the Addapave material was installed to add a highly decorative element to the courtyard area. The tree pit system provides little maintenance to the tree plantings. A total of 19 tree pits were installed in the courtyard and adjacent sidewalk area of the Bank of America Plaza in Charlotte, NC. This is a highly porous surface that allows the tree roots to develop healthy growth through continued air and water infiltration.

PROCESS:

Addapave — Installation of 6-10mm Silver Grey Granite the Addapave was applied over a compacted washed stone base. The combination of natural aggregates and a clear binder creates a unique, decorative and durable low maintenance surface.
