Gas South District (formerly known as Infinite Energy Center) started a major renovation and expansion in 2019 to encompass new building expansions and exterior hardscape work. Georgia Precast Solutions (GPS) was asked to assist Lose Design during the hardscape design development stage with precast concrete detailing for wall panels and copings, custom seat walls, planters, and miscellaneous furnishing designs needed for a complete, workable scope. A custom aggregate was selected for the precast concrete to give the hardscape unique aesthetics. Conduit for lighting and other details were incorporated in the precast furnishings.

GPS also assisted Brightview Landscape’s team in installation details for this complex installation. Production of comprehensive shop and field drawings were a key element of a successful installation which spanned over a year during different phases. This teamwork has resulted in a compelling presentation of precast concrete furnishings providing for an inviting plaza for guests.

Project will commence in December 2022.
