The Facility

Located off Queen Elizabeth Way at 560 Centennial Parkway North, Moxie's Hamilton is featured in the base of the Sandman Hotel Hamilton and just minutes from Lake Ontario, Confederation Beach Park, Albion Falls, and the Stoney Creek Smart Centre.

The Heating Challenge

Outdoor seating and entrance areas are usually very cold during chilly months and one of the biggest concerns was to keep patrons and employees warm and comfortable.

Implementation

IR Energy’s business development manager, Justin Merritt worked with a local representative to design and implement an energy solution that would keep customers and employees warm and comfortable at the main entrance and outdoor sitting area, while conserving energy and reducing energy costs.

A total of eight IR Energy ETS heaters were successfully installed in the outdoor and entrance areas.

Results

When IR Energy’s representative visited Moxies to follow up on how the heaters were performing, he received positive reviews on the efficiency of the heaters and how IR Energy’s heating systems were able to exceed their heating challenges. This resulted in other Moxie’s stores across Canada installing IR Energy heaters the same way.
