Wiedemann Architects carefully selected LUXE Linear Drains to solve the issues presented for a custom master bath and shower renovation of a penthouse condominium in Chevy Chase, MD. The complete overhaul to transform the existing space into a luxury condo presented quite the challenge for Wiedemann Architects with two central issues - low ceilings and placement of the original plumbing. The LUXE tile insert linear drain allowed for a curbless, zero-threshold shower entry without sacrificing any of the limited ceiling height the architects inherited as part of the existing building design. In order to avoid the tedious process of moving the existing plumbing, two LUXE tile insert linear drains were coupled together to span the distance of the entire shower. Ultimately Wiedemann Architects utilization of LUXE Linear Drains resulted in a stunning shower design with the perfect functionality for the completely renovated space.
