A Swirling Tornado of Fire.

This striking spectacle of flame is on full display at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center project, which is a beautiful example of Montigo's newest commercial product, the Tornado.

We partnered with American Heritage Fireplace in Chicago, IL, to develop a complementary design to suit the unique location this fireplace would be displayed in.

The community and health center is a collaboration between Beacon Health System, Elkhart Community Schools and the Community Foundation of Elkhart County. The facility is the result of visionary community leaders and donors as a place of health, wellness and growth for Elkhart County. The facility includes a state-of-the-art aquatics center, indoor & outdoor common spaces.

Montigo’s fully custom postless triangle design lives at the peak of a large common area atrium.This 3-sided triangular fireplace echoes the shape of the room and provides a dramatic showcase for the 3-foot swirling tornado of flame in the center.
The 132-inch tall glass (11-foot) was so large that it required multiple installers and the use of a cherry picker to maneuver the panes into place!

The end result is a fireplace unlike any other.
