The Los Angeles Parks Foundation is a not-for-profit that was created to support the Los Angeles City Department of Parks and Recreation. Since its inception in 2008, the LA Parks Foundation has raised over $45 million to support LA city park projects and programs. They obtain private funding through donations and fundraising to enhance current outdoor spaces across the city.

The LA Parks Foundation received a private donation for new outdoor fitness equipment and chose Outdoor-Fit to supply it. Robert Burns Park was the location of choice, only a few miles south of Hollywood. The three units are all painted in light green and include the LA Parks Foundation logo on the instructional placards. As our first park project in Los Angeles, we were pleased they chose the Apollo Multigym, two Everest Cardio Climbers, and made it an ASTM (F3101-21a) compliant site with safety surfacing and proper spacing.
