"We owe Pattern Paving Products a huge thank you for their important role in making our Paint the Pavement project a success. Not only does the project look great, we have heard from dozens of neighbors about how they feel part of something and how much the project has brought the neighborhood together. My favorite comment was from a father of two young children who said that he now feels a real sense of ownership for the entire street, not just his house. Another neighbor said that in the 25 years she has lived here, she never had more fun or met more people at any other event. Two months later the impacts are still becoming apparent as neighbors that met on Paint Day are organizing around anti-crime issues and planning other events like a progressive dinner held in September. And, we enjoy notoriety of having the sun and moon on our street!"
