SF Jones Architects specified Eide Industries, Inc. to produce a Retractable Canopy Roof System with Vertical Screens for the newly opened Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, CA. The design-refinement provided by Eide introduced a motorized roof system projecting outwards on aluminum slide-on-track frames, with slide-on-wire vertical screens operated from the outer perimeter. Flame-retardant white Serge Ferrari STAM 6002 fabric was used for the top cover, with flame-treated Sunbrella outdoor fabric and clear vinyl for each vertical screen. The overall coverage area of 818 square feet (16'-7'' Projection x 49'-0'' Wide) consists of three fabric roof sections attached to the existing outdoor patio trellis. The patrons of Hollywood now enjoy the great new location to see and be seen, thanks to the newly added outdoor patio area of the Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop.
