Eide Industries was brought onboard by Phoenix Architecture to assist with the design of a slide on wire canopy system for the new JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Eide developed and engineered the cable system to attach to the existing frame structure to meet the required 90 MPH wind-loads, while in the retracted position. Eide successfully designed, fabricated and installed the flame-retardant Serge Ferrari Soltis 92 (Bronze) fabric covers to slide on rings throughout the outdoor lounge area.
