Leo Baeck Day School is a progressive Jewish Education Center located in Toronto Ontario.

Scope of work:

The old playground and sports court had deficiencies and no longer met the needs of the institution or the community. Safescapes was contracted to revitalize the playground and sports court, with an added accessibility pathway to the playground area.

The install:

The playground was built over a commercial grade deck system with steel I beams. Portions of the deck had do be removed, replaced and waterproofed to avoid future degradation. New designs were added to the play surface and sports court to match school colours.

The result:

Redesigned and improved play surface for school and community use with updated materials and colours.
