The Wharf Manitowoc, located along the picturesque Lake Michigan in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, has revolutionized the outdoor riverside experience by offering delicious food, signature cocktails and live entertainment with breathtaking water views.

To transform this casual-chic waterfront hideaway into a year-round entertainment facility with a full-service restaurant and bar that hosts over 80 free events annually, Keller, Inc. was hired.

As part of the redesign process, an almost 3,500 sq. ft. outdoor area was covered by eight 24’x18’ motorized retractable roofs with gutters. To complement the attached metal structure, waterproof and fire-retardant Ferrari Boulder fabric was chosen while the components were powder-coated Traffic Black.

The weather-proof coverage these roofs provide allows The Wharf to host events on its large patio regardless of the weather - rain or shine! With a push of a button, the roofs can be extended or retracted for complete protection or open skies.
