The Facility

Belvedere LRT Station is named for the adjacent neighborhood of Belvedere. It hosts a Park and Ride facility with 780 stalls. It also has reserved carpool parking. The platform is 7.858m in width and 121.425m long.

The Heating Challenge

The City of Edmonton mechanical maintenance department contacted our distributor looking for a heating solution to keep transit users warm and comfortable while waiting for their ride.

Implementation

SRP’s Series UXR were installed, as they provide the most energy-efficient comfort in applications with extreme weather conditions.

Results

Just a few days after the installation, the mechanical contractor owner invited our distributor and the city coordinator for an inspection.

All passed with flying colors, and the contractor and the city coordinator became good customers who relied on our good layouts, products, and advice.

They were pleased with the UXR performance even in extreme weather conditions, providing reliable comfort to transit users effectively and efficiency while reducing energy costs and conserving energy.
