Francis G. Fitzpatrick Park
Bayonne, New Jersey

Project Details

Location
Bayonne, New Jersey

Bayonne, New Jersey underwent significant changes during its improvement project. The aim was to reduce the frequency of sanitary sewer backups, update an outdated park, and construct an ADA-compliant playground. According to the notice, the park was expected to receive upgrades such as a new splash park area, a roller hockey rink, a basketball court, a patio with picnic and game tables, a bike rack, and drinking fountains for both people and pets. To cater to children of various age groups, multiple new playgrounds have been constructed. Each playground is designed to provide age-appropriate challenges for younger and older children. These new playgrounds are equipped with a variety of equipment and play structures that encourage physical activity, social interaction, and imaginative play.

Superior Playgrounds took the initiative to construct several inclusive playground structures to cater to the needs of Francis G. Fitzpatrick Park. The decision-making process included multiple themes while ensuring that the structures were bright and appealing to children. The park now boasts a themed ambulance play structure, a police car play structure with two accompanying police spring riders and a rescue boat play structure. To protect children from harmful UV rays, multiple shades were built into the larger play structures. Thanks to Superior Playgrounds, children in the Francis G. Fitzpatrick Park area can enjoy these spectacular play structures for years to come.
