This Daycare was a 9,110SF outdoor play space built on a rooftop in the downtown area of Washington DC in 2020. The expansion of the daycare allowed this facility to accommodate an additional 120 children. They chose a combination of TitusTPV and Turf for the playground surfacing due to the low maintenance requirements, natural look, and additional play value that can be added with TitusTPV designs. The installation of this playground on a rooftop presented additional challenges for the playground equipment and surfacing. The design of the TitusTPV featured a hop scotch, trike track, custom Oval Seal with stars, and a curvilinear design accentuated by alternating color patterns. This custom design worked with the theme of the playground and also added some additional play value for the space.
