To set themselves apart from others, the designers looked to introduce a green wall. Living plants would have incurred costly maintenance fees and ongoing costs for water usage and chemicals, and so it was decided that an artificial solution was the best one.

However, in this case, it was more than simply a case of making the building look good. By cladding the front of the building, the residents were able to tap in to the insultation benefit of using the system. The panels provide an extra layer on the outside to keep warm air in, and deflect the sun during those warmer days, keeping the rooms cooler.

The installation was completed with a minimum of fuss and doesn’t require any ongoing attention, giving these homeowners all the fun of a living wall, without any of the hassle.
