The substrate was cleaned and free of the existing membrane. The corners and vertical edges were then leveled off with MEADOW-PATCH 20 for a smooth surface. The morning of application, the surface was blown free of dust and laitance. All of the detailing around the corners and scuppers were then completed with MEL-PRIME and DETAIL STRIP. HRM 714 was then melted with a double-boiler, oil-jacketed kettle, then poured out, and squeegeed into place at 60 mils. While the material was still hot, REINFORCING FABRIC HCR was embedded. After the first 60-mil layer cooled, a second coat of HRM 714 at 60 mils was poured out and squeegeed over the REINFORCING FABRIC HCR and then covered with PROTECTION COURSE PC-2 for a total membrane thickness of 120 mils.
