All Seasons Holiday Park Mildura
With over 400 more hours of sunshine than the Gold Coast, Mildura, Australia, which derives its name from the Aboriginal term for red earth, sits on the banks of the vast Murray River, with its paddle-wheel steamers and houseboats. Famous for its jazz, wine, arts and country music festivals, it is also, home to the popular and family-friendly caravan park, All Seasons Holiday Park.

Design Challenge
Taking pride in the quality of their park and its already extensive facilities, the owners of All Seasons Holiday Park embarked on a journey to set their park ahead of the competition. With an emphasis on creating memorable family experiences, a main component of the action-plan included updating their existing water play area to not only attract new guests but also, keep them onsite longer and wanting to come back for more!

Solution
Designed in partnership with our expert aquatic play team at ParkEquip, the revitalized spray park at All Seasons Holiday Park Mildura offers guests year-round, non-stop, high action entertainment. Utilizing a vibrant colour palette of blue, orange and yellow an enlivening brand experience is delivered that soaks the senses. At its centrepiece is the towering Mega Soaker dumping bucket emblazoned with the park’s logo reinforcing the facilities playful purpose with a 50-gallon splash!
Fun for the whole family and the first installation of its kind in Australia, the Activity Tower elevates play to new heights, featuring ten interactive water features, wave-like Graphic Panels and the impressive Sky Soaker dumping bucket. Extending the play and adding to the excitement, strategically placed Splash Blaster water cannons encourage one-on-one water combat for those looking to take on a challenge.
To complete the play space and adding a lovely finishing touch, a custom, visually stunning, shoreline inspired design was painted onto the play pad concrete.

Impact
Since its installation, this action-packed splash pad has been an instant hit amongst holiday-goers of all ages, offering a one-of-kind guest experience. Crushing initial expectations from day one, bookings have sky-rocketed and a new stream of revenue has been experienced from the local, surrounding community of Mildura, who visit the park routinely on a pay per use basis.
