Main Chance Estates is an apartment complex in Walnut Creek, California, designed in a Mediterranean architectural style. However, there was one aspect of the property they were interested inupgrading – the wooden dumpster enclosures with pergola roofs. Over the years, the original enclosures had begun to show signs of weathering. The client's vision was clear: recreate the style of the previous wooden dumpster enclosures with long-lasting materials that enhance the property's aesthetics for years to come. 

We used woodgrain textured PVC boards to match the previous dumpsters' look. This choice allowed us to capture the warmth and character of wood while offering several advantages. PVC is fade-resistant and exceptionally durable, reducing the need for frequent maintenance and replacement. From a long-term perspective, this choice proves to be cost-effective, ensuring the enclosures maintain their appeal for years to come.

Typically, dumpsters are thought of as an eyesore that detracts from the property's aesthetics. With pergolas designed to match the building’s architectural features, it allows the dumpster enclosures to enhance the property's curb appeal. The custom-made pergola roofs are constructed with extruded aluminum and finished with automotive grade paint custom color matched to the building.

By matching the apartment complex's architectural aesthetics, we have fulfilled our client's vision and added charm to the Walnut Creek landscape.
