S-5! recently completed construction of their new headquarters in Black Forest, CO. When approached for a custom solution to their facility’s needs, our METALWALK® Walkway and Ladders proved to be the perfect fit for S-5! All products supplied provided both functional and aesthetic benefits.

S-5! – Leaders in Rooftop Attachment Solutions

S-5! specializes in rooftop attachment products, including clamps, snow retention brackets, and solar mounting kits. Their new headquarters required a safe and efficient way to access their solar panels that also blended seamlessly with the roof’s appearance.

Project Objectives 

• Enhanced Safety: Ensuring OSHA-compliant rooftop access.
• Roof Protection: Distributing weight evenly to prevent damage.
• Seamless Integration: A non-penetrative system designed for standing seam metal roofs.
• Durability: Withstanding extreme weather conditions.

Design and Implementation 

DCI supplied a Metalwalk system and ladders for S-5!’s two-story office building, including:

• A 13' caged ladder for north slope access.
• A 21' walkway leading to a 4' cageless ladder, connecting to a 48' walkway along the south slope.
• Two 30' walkways descending between solar panels, forming an upside-down “U” shape.
• All products were powder-coated black to blend with the roof panels.
