A Little Rustic and a Little Posh
Our restroom at Herron Park is the first ever prefab building purchased by the City of Aspen, Colorado. We have a special connection with Colorado, in fact “Aspen” is the literal namesake of one of our first and most popular restroom models, so this install was a little extra special.
The restroom is set in a beautiful mountain town, surrounded by forests, multi-million-dollar residences and the sparkling Roaring Fork River.Because of the posh environment, maintaining the highest aesthetic quality was very important.
The restroom (a mid-sized Durango II model) utilizes COR-TEN steel on the roof, gutters, and downspouts to achieve a frontier/rustic look. The porch features stained cedar posts and exposed beams. The siding has a stone wainscot. On the inside, there is a fully customized tile interior, flushometer fixtures, lighted mirror, automatic sinks and hand driers.
Despite having full utility connections, the restroom still makes use of a precastdry vault foundation underneath, as it is useful for plumbing maintenance.
Like our other mountain installs, the restroom at Herron Park is designed to weather high winds and withstand heavy snow loads.
