The University of Technology Sydney’s Alumni Green, a central gathering area on campus, was developed in collaboration with Aspect Studios over multiple stages from 2013 to 2019. The project aimed to create functional and inviting outdoor spaces for students and staff. Street + Garden’s Sit suite of furniture, including Sit Backed and Sit Backless Benches, Sit Workstations, and Sit Bin Enclosures, was designed to complement the expansive grassy area and the more intimate garden pods surrounding it. 

The suite features a custom faceted laser-cut pattern and was developed into a modular system for straightforward delivery and assembly on-site. Materials used include fabricated mild steel with vibrant green and white powder coat finishes, and spotted gum timber battens with an oiled finish. This design enhances the campus’s aesthetic appeal while providing versatile and durable seating options that support both social interactions and study activities.
