About this project:

Haddonstone was commissioned to create a cast stone portico for an architectural project in New York.

Our private residential client shared a very rough sketch of an entry canopy they had seen during their travels with Haddonstone’s team, in the hope of recreating something similar for their property in the city.

Haddonstone’s USA team, which is based in Pueblo, Colorado, took the sketch and converted it into an AutoCAD drawing using some of our standard portico and pilasters, as well with custom Ionic capital details. Our client was delighted with the technical drawing.

All architectural components were handmade to order by our expert craftsmen in Colorado in Haddonstone’s dry-cast material, in classic Portland color.

North Shore Monuments, based in Old Brookville, New York, installed the portico, resulting in a beautifully crafted and positioned portico that exceeded our client’s expectations.
