The project
Our client is based in Vista, California, and they commissioned Haddonstone to transform their exquisite outdoor space.
They selected a wide range of Haddonstone’s landscaping components for their stunning private residence.
Our USA team closely collaborated with our client, managing the design and manufacture of all cast stonework. This included a significant volume of balustrade and steps for a renovated rear terrace.
Each component was handmade to order by our skilled craftsmen in Pueblo, Colorado, using a blend of traditional and modern techniques to ensure the highest quality. The components, crafted in Bath color, included balustrades, under copings, flat rails, plinths and steps.
Equine Head on Georgian Pedestal
Our client chose several Haddonstone home and garden designs to further enhance their outside space.
This included our Equine Head, which creates a striking focal point.
The Equine Head statue was expertly handmade to order by our USA team. Distinguished and full of lifelike detail, it faithfully replicates the original stone horse head unearthed at Civitavecchia near Rome in the 1500s, and so is a design that is steeped in rich history.
The statue is elevated on an impressive Georgian Pedestal, perfect for showcasing this incredible cast stone garden statue. The pedestal’s classic design, featuring deep recessed compound molding, adds a touch of elegance to any garden, courtyard, or terrace.
Available in a range of colors, both the Equine Head and the Georgian Pedestal are robust and frost-resistant pieces that will weather beautifully and last for many years.
Pool Surround
Our client selected a large pool surround, complemented by kerbs, vases, and plinths, to establish a striking focal point in their landscape.
They cleverly repurposed the pool surround to create a planted area, filling it with manicured box hedging and evergreen shrubs, which were carefully placed inside the surround’s shell-like vases.
To complete the design, they positioned their own statue at the center.
