Story book Gardens offer new activities and adventures each season. Park features in the summer season include several outdoor play structures, five amusement rides, a large splash pad, sand and water play areas, outdoor performances, and scheduled events for the entire family to enjoy. The park also offers winter skating on the beautiful 250 metre outdoor skating trail.

Scope of work:

Asphalt around the 250 metre skating trail was causing slips and falls when people got off the trail. Safescapes was contracted to resurface asphalt around the skating trail and the toddler area with their SafeSkate product. Yellow indicator lines were added at the transition points for the skating trail and rubberized surface.

The install:

Completed over two days, asphalt was prepared for resurfacing along with high visibility indicator lines. The team resurfaced the seamless rubber coating on the second day over all contracted areas.

A custom blended colour for the park pathways.
