The city of Minneapolis has taken the initiative to install lighting in for the bus stations through-out the city. In partnership with Metro Transit, SELS presented the SSL to be that solution. SSL stands for Solar Shelter Lighting, this is a product that is designed to adapt to any type of shelter and bring lighting, surveillance, and even Wi-Fi to the public transportation patrons. Pictured here is an example of how the SSL integrates with the Metro Transit bus stop. This option brings lighting to the consumer to aid in safe travel during the night as well as easier identification of riders for the bus driver.
