The Bal Harbour Shops Pop-Up is a 17,000 sq. ft. mobile luxury retail experience that recreates the elegance of Miami’s iconic shopping destination in cities across the U.S. Designed from 30 modified shipping containers, the layout includes a central open-air courtyard surrounded by high-end fashion boutiques and fine dining. ShadeFX partnered with LOT-EK Architecture & Design and RA Engineering to enhance the courtyard’s functionality and comfort with three custom 20' × 20' motorized retractable canopies. Featuring integrated gutters, the canopies provide sun and rain protection while preserving the open, tropical ambiance. This innovative installation combines mobility, style, and ShadeFX’s dependable outdoor solutions to deliver a refined guest experience in any setting.
