Rowan County, N.C. was in need of an inclusive playground structure that would provide children of all ages and abilities with a place for them to engage in their right to play. Together, Rowan County, Superior Recreation of the Carolinas, and Superior Recreational Products designed a custom, nature-themed inclusive play environment. This outdoor play environment features a large inclusive structure that is fully accessible to mobility devices with a balance of meaningful play activities. The environment also features an Inclusive Orbit, swing set with inclusive swing seats, a Buddy Bench, and poured-in-place surfacing.
