Nestled in the bustling Marina del Rey-Venice market of Los Angeles, The Bluffs at Playa Vista Parking Structure project is a shining example of sustainable urban development. This initiative, expertly executed by Morley Builders and conceived by HKS Architects and Johnson Fain, is a testament to the harmonious integration of green technology with contemporary architecture.
Surface mounted in geometric patterns to the parking structure at The Bluffs is a series of Greenscreen® Wall Mounted Trellis, a product of Greenscreen®, now a proud part of Tournesol. The trellis panels beautify the parking structures built adjacent to The Bluffs at Playa Vista Campus, a project awarded the prestigious LEED Gold certification, a status achieved through reducing their environmental impact. The building's design optimized energy performance and reduced potable water usage for landscaping, aligning with the objectives of green wall design. The project illustrates how sustainable practices seamlessly woven into the architectural design can reap significant benefits for stakeholders and the community.
The Bluffs at Playa Vista is an example of green innovation and a brilliant showcase of how environmental responsibility can coexist with architectural design, leading to a greener, more sustainable future.
