Commercial Playground Equipment In Orange County: We assisted Camden Properties with their commercial playground installation in Irvine, which included a new Pour-in-Place rubber surfacing system.

The Challenge

Certainly the toughest obstacles we worked through on this job occurred during playground installation. The requirements specified on the approved plans called out for 4,500 PSI concrete with a special mix. While this strength of concrete is considered overkill for playground foundations, we pumped in the concrete from a concrete truck in order to meet the specified requirements.

Our Solution

The solution to these challenges involved working together with our installation team and the client to assess our options and determine the best path forward. While there were certainly some stringent requirements on the job, it allowed for a perfect final product and a playground that will be in place for many, many years.
